CFP: Enlightened Russian Conference, Edinburgh, deadline 15 May


Enlightened Russian Conference - Call for papers
31 Aug - 1 Sept 2012
Coinciding with the 2012 Catherine the Great Exhibition at the National Museum of Scotland, which will feature exhibits from the collection of Russia's State Hermitage Museum in St Petersburg, this 3-day conference will revolve around the socio-cultural shifts in the Russian language brought about by exposure to Enlightenment thinking.
Papers may cover a range of themes and methodologies; the closing date for submitting abstracts is 15 May 2012.
